On Saturday, November 7th, the Dade City Garden
Club will host their 4th annual
FallGarden Tour & Plant
Sale from 10am 4pm. The self-guided tour includes five private
DadeCity
and
LakeJovitaGardens! Also, guests will enjoy touring over 2 acres
of Garden Club grounds featuring seven garden rooms. There will be yard art for sale, gardening
information, and artist demonstrations in select gardens.
Among the five private gardens on the tour, two are located
on
Church Avenue. They have landscaping appropriate to their
historic settings, beautiful poolside landscaping, with a bonus of interesting
containers and seasonal décor. The three gardens located in nearby
LakeJovita
have a variety of styles. One has year-round color provided by a variety of
perennials; the owners farming heritage is reflected in her lush garden. The next boasts a spectacular hybrid tea rose
garden; the owner will be sharing his secrets for success with tour guests. The
last garden is a huge estate garden with rolling vistas and wonderful
hardscape.
There is something for every taste in this years tour! The
tour begins at the Dade City Garden Club,
13630 Fifth Street; tickets are available
at the clubhouse the day of the tour. Light refreshments will be served at the Club and along the tour. Adults $10, children are free.
